SmartLab Technology Resources in LearningHub has basic guidance for setting up Fusion 360 for use in the lab.
The download is the same for all license types (free hobby user, free/verified education user, paid user). However, access to use the software is linked to an Autodesk account (which must be used to sign in as an individual user with the hobby license or education user license).
To avoid requiring students to log in to use Fusion 360, schools can follow the steps on this page to 1) confirm eligibility to obtain access to multi-user licenses and 2) get a network license and deploy Fusion 360.
If those steps aren't possible, then signing up for individual educator and student licenses would be the next best option, following the steps on this page.
Finally, if neither of those options work for you, then anyone over the age of 13 (per COPPA requirements to set up an Autodesk account) can set up a personal Fusion 360 account for free by clicking on "Get Autodesk Fusion for Personal Use" from this page of the Autodesk website.
