If a computer has the correct network configuration to connect to the domain, and the correct domain name is shown on the network adapter, but it is experiencing network issues, you may need to reset the domain.

To reset the domain, follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Press Windows key + I

Step 2 - Go to System > About

Step 3 - In the About section, click the Advanced system settings

Step 4 - In the System Properties window, go to the Computer Name tab

Step 5 - Click “Change”

Step 6 - Write down the domain name that is currently listed in the domain field and save this for later

Step 7 - Switch the checkbox to Workgroup and name it “WORKGROUP”

Step 8 - Click OK and restart the computer to apply the changes

Step 9 - After restarting, repeat these steps but switch it back to Domain and re-enter the same domain name that was previously entered
